Kaika Saisei Chapter 2: Of Gods and Goddesses

Kaika Saisei Chapter 2 is finally here, everyone! As promised.

A month has passed since the publication of its first chapter and I want to say I was positively overwhelmed by the good receptions you guys have shown to this story.

I am deeply humbled and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my story.

Like promised, every month you will get a new chapter published. I wish I could do this faster, but sadly I cannot. There’s a lot of time to plan everything, plus other than that, I must perform in my real life.

With that being said, I am leaving you with Kaika Saisei Chapter 2. Unlike its predecessor, this chapter focuses more on Sakura Haruno.

We’re finally entering the premise of the whole story. Like you all know, the idea that I had with this story is a continuation of the original story where Sakura starts wondering if she can keep up with the ninja world, now that gods seem to be roaming.

How does she feel about that? Does she think she can make it? Who’s the person she can confide most with these thoughts and worries she has?

These are just some of the questions I am responding to in this chapter.

So take a walk with me through this chapter, as I envision the path Sakura starts to take in this new story.

Is there something out there she can make use of? Is there someone who can help her with what she’s going through?

Read at your own discretion and find out in this newest chapter of Kaika Saisei.

Well, you certainly not waste time setting up the goals, alongside with getting us more re-aquiented with the characters. I like it, it makes sense that Sakura should be the one to begin to work on evolving the medical techniques as they are know, after all if Naruto and Sasuke could surpass so far their teachers, Jiraiya and Orochimaru, Sakura could surely surpass Tsunade if she has already match her.

Not a lot to say really besides that, after all you are just setting up the story in beautiful ways not making it feel as if it isn’t Naruto, with how the characters are portray. I also like how you inverted the situation on the end, hinting to the fact that, they are both pushing the other to something that would make then unhappy deep in side, just for what they believe is the happiness of the other.

So to sum up, you manage to push Sakura’s career plot, romance plot and character plot in to the beginning stage of setting the seeds for then to happen, in one chapter… Yep this will be a nice long ride, i like then 😀

Hope that things keep going well.

P.S: Also im kind of sad that the only illustration that feels not well done is Kurama, not because i like him, which i do like how he was handle, but more because it’s the first one that doesn’t keep up with the quality 🙁

      Hi Max!
Thank you once again for taking time to leave a feedback on the newest chapter!
Yes, if Kaika Saisei’s last chapter was set-up to be a start point/transition chapter, this is more of a setting chapter. Setting the tone, setting some goals, some hurdles so on and so forth.

And yes, Kaika’s basis pretty much lies in Sakura’s fate as a character and how is she eventually going to surpass her master, since Sasuke and Naruto already did that.
From what we saw in the OG material, Sakura is on par with her master, while alluding at the fact that she can use Byakugou more effectively. But why? How is that? What do we do with the drawbacks? This is just few of the paths I delved on.

And it is my goal to make this story as close possible to the actual Naruto in all ways possible: plots, exposition, characters, their bonds, their development etc. Hopefully I can do this without any issue.

Glad you liked the chapter overall. 😀

As for the illustration, I am not sure what you mean by quality of Kurama’s drawing? Could you be more specific with that?
I’d really like to understand what you mean by quality.

Anyway, thank you very much for your feedback once again!

I really liked the chapter! Sakura and Tsunade’s conversation was my favorite moment. I liked that tsunade cheered Sakura up and told her about her family.

I was saddened that Naruto and Sakura’s relationship as it seems like their relationship is going to end up breaking up.

I can’t wait for the next chapter!.

      Hi Lola!
Thank you so much for your feedback!
I am really glad also that you enjoyed the chapter. It was a real fun to write it. Tsunade and Sakura’s side of the stories were rarely explored, so I thought this story really needs this this kind of exposition.

Plus, the two had to bond over something and the OG story kinda laid that foundation for us.
All I had to do is just explore it a little bit.

As for Naruto and Sakura well, I can’t spoil anything. All I can do is ask you to stay tooned to the story and you’ll find out their road. 😀

As promised, next chapter will be up in the next month. 😀
