As you all know by now, Haruno Sakura: the character, the meaning, the hate is one of the series dear to my heart.
I started writing it back in 2013. But that was a long time ago, right? A lot has happened since then. Naruto series itself ended. As you well know and I’ve been telling you, my blog was also lost.
That is why, as I told you on my Facebook page, as a tribute to my blog being back, I’m restarting the series. But, I must confess. It’s not an easy task given that so much time has passed since then.
So before doing it, I am curious of one thing: how would you guys see the continuation of it? What would you want to see in it? For the new, yet old Haruno Sakura: the character, the meaning, the hate series I have a new structure in mind.
But before going on with it, I wanted to make sure of one thing. That it’s going to cater to you guys. You know that one of the reasons I liked writing very much was your feedback. So yes, your feedback is important to me.
The new structure of Haruno Sakura: the character, the meaning, the hate
Before going on, let me explain you a bit how I saw the continuation of the series. As you well know from the previous 9 parts, I just went along from moment to moment. How I felt it fits.
But that was me back then. The inexperienced me. The 5 years later (since Naruto ended) me, has a bit of accumulated knowledge on this matter. I know I want it more structured than ever. Than before, at least.
But I want it to be a structure you guys would also like. I’ll start by explain to you the options in my mind.
Option 1: have an analysis chapter by chapter. Basically, each chapter that has Sakura in it, undergoes analysis.
Option 2: analysis by story arcs. Here it’s rather simple, as well. Have Sakura’s appearance and involvement in each arc analyzed.
Option 3: by volumes. As we all know, Naruto’s story spans over 72 volumes. Like in the arcs, have Sakura’s appearance per volume analyzed.
Problems of the old structure & new structure
I realized that the old way I’ve written this story isn’t really the best way. I’m at the 9th part of, and I barely scratched the surface. This could very well go for hundreds of numbers.
Not that I would mind. But still, I like to think effectively. Like Sakura used to use her chakra effectively, so I’m trying to do with my writings.
So, the problem with the old Haruno Sakura: the character, the meaning, the hate could be its length. Yes, it gives me the possibility to break it all in smaller, easier to read articles, but as I said, it could get lengthy.
But, the problem arises on the other hand with the new structure. Yes, per total, I could reduce its length. The series itself wouldn’t span across hundreds of articles. But! Here’s the catch: while the series’ length would diminish, the articles’ one would grow. See my problem here?
A solution
A solution lies between the story arcs and/or between the volume release. I know I’m going to find the right solution and structure for it.
But seeing how you guys were very receptive to this series’ return, I could not get by without knowing your preferences on the matter.
So with this being said, I’m waiting for a input on your part. I’m really eager to listen to it.
